November 23, 1944 — December 15, 2014
Brenda Rose Turner, age 70, went home to the Lord Monday, December 15, 2014. Accepting Christ as a Baptist at an early age, she was a 26 year employee of Columbus Public Schools (retired). Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her father, Jon Mathews; and mother, Rosie Mae Mathews. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Keith (Carl-yon) Turner, Kurtis (Tammy) Turner, and Kendall (Kim) Turner; brothers, Johnny (Odessa) Mathews, Glen (Jill) Mathews, and Frank Moon; aunt, Ruth Thompson; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
