Bonita K. Allen transitioned from this world on Monday, November 28th, 2016, and went home to be with our Heavenly Father at age 60. She was born on December 7, 1955, in Xenia, OH, and received her high school diploma from Xenia High School, graduating on June 2nd, 1974. Bonita later married and moved to Columbus, OH where she worked at National City Bank as an Item Processor II, and later retired. Bonita enjoyed helping others and bringing joy to their lives. She loved to sing, dance, listen to music, knit covers for others, and cook. Most importantly, Bonita was a nurturer and loving mother to her children, grandchildren and to others. Bonita would give her last to help those in need and was quick to love and call you her very own. Our mother had an awesome gift from God of showing unconditional love and compassion towards others. Bonita loved the Lord and attending and serving at her church at Columbus Christian Center. Bonita was predeceased by her parents, Joseph W. Allen Sr. and Edna Allen; sister and brothers, Regina Turner, Daniel Allen, Joseph Wade Allen, Jr.; Bobby Allen; and nephew, Demar Thomas. Bonita leaves to cherish her memory three children, Isa Thomas, Sevana Kynard, and Shana Thomas; God-daughters, Tara Thompson, and Sh'ron Sibley; grandchildren, Jason Anderson, Joshua Anderson, Skye Garnes, Joseph Garnes, Jasmine Martin, Faith Martin, Andrew Criner, Demar Thomas, Eliyah Mason, and Isaiah Kynard; brothers and sisters-in-law, David Allen, Dale Allen, Colette Allen, Barbara Allen and the rest of her family.
