Betty Lou Lewis

Deaconess Betty Lou Lewis, of Columbus, OH, ascended to her heavenly home on January 13th, 2022. She was born in Chillicothe, OH on March 24th, 1933. Deaconess Lewis, was passionate about many things, but most of all she loved to cook, sew, sing and teach. Deaconess Lewis has impacted many lives. She was a Sunday school teacher, usher board member, choir member, missionary board member, cook, cub scout den mother, seamstress, and much more.

She is predeceased by her mother Ruth Steward; sister Bessie Thomas; former husband Bruce Lewis; and son Timothy Lewis Sr. She is survived by her four children, Sara Hill, Jeff Lewis, Sheila Lewis, Gary (Donya) Lewis Sr., 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
