Bernard Gilbert Jr

Bernard Donald Gilbert Jr. went to reside with the Lord on October 11, 2012. He was a loving husband, amazing father, mentor and role model. Bernard was a faithful member of Asbury North United Methodist Church where he served as the General Manager, Trustee and United Methodist Men’s Treasurer. Bernard served in the Army during the Korean War; followed by his career with the Timken Roller Bearing Company. Bernard is preceded in death by wife, Mary Anne; mother, Evelyn (Covington) Randolph and father, Bernard Donald Gilbert Sr. He is survived by children, Denise Ross, Robin Scott, and Bernard D. Gilbert III; grandchildren, Misti Ross (Danny Ramirez), Otis A. Ross III, Bernard D. Gilbert IV, Anthony Gilbert, Matthew Gilbert and Marcus Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Asya Ross and Aden Ramirez; great-great granddaughter, Kyra Foley; nieces, Teena (Terrance) Copeland, Ava (Eric) Milligan, Stacy Gilbert and Barbara Clark.
