Amos Lynch Sr
July 5, 1925 — July 24, 2015
Amos H. Lynch, age 90, went home to the Lord Friday, July 24, 2015. Publisher of the Columbus Call and Post newspaper and community activist; member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Geraldine Anderson Lynch; and beloved son, Amos H. Lynch, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Amosizinna Scott, of Pittsburgh, PA; beloved son, David (Stephanie) Lynch, of Berk, VA; brothers, Nelson Lynch; Orville (Gwendolyn) Lynch, David E. E. Lynch, Huey M. (Jeanette) Lynch; sister, Javlin Lynch Bonner; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
