She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a former teacher in the Columbus City Schools. Preceded in death by husband Arthur Bennett, parents Clathan and Essie Scott, 5 brothers, William Glover, Oakley, Tennis, Leroy, and Rev. George Robert, and 2 sisters Dorthema and Kathryn. She leaves to cherish her memories, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godson Charles A. Scott, friends and church family.
