Adell (Simmons) Stevens

Mother Adell Stevens, age 81, went home to the Lord Wednesday, July 27, 2011. She was born September 27, 1929 to the late Cleveland and Mabel Simmons. She was predeceased by her husband, Deacon James G. Stevens; daughters, Rebecca Pryor and Brenda Williams; sister, Elnora Bell; brother, George Simmons, three brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Barbara (William) Middleton, of Charleston, SC; James Stevens, Jr.; Richard Stevens; Virginia (Homer) Green; Fred Williams; and special daughter, June Williams; all of Columbus, OH; brother, Julian (Esther) Simmons; sister, Elevina Smalls, of Columbus, OH; sister-in-law, Dorothy Gleaton; brother-in-law, Francis (Annie-Mae) Stevens, of Charleston, SC; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
